LaunchAbility Announces Inaugural ECI Stroller-A-Thon

September 25th event gives new meaning to a weekend stroll!

Join us on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Brookhaven College for the Inaugural Early Childhood Intervention, ECI, Stroller-A-Thon hosted by LaunchAbility - ECI. Thousands of Dallas County children live with developmental delays; others have yet to be diagnosed. The ECI Stroller-A-Thon is an opportunity to raise awareness about the availability of ECI therapies to help these babies - and have a little fun, too.

The ECI Stroller-A-Thon benefits Dallas County's five Early Childhood Intervention programs that serve children with developmental delays from birth to age three. Proceeds from this event go to an emergency fund to help families of all five programs to pay for necessities such as food, clothing, utilities and respite care.

After the one-mile stroll around the campus, join us for refreshments, prizes, and games. Booths will provide information about a child's natural development and services that are offered to families of children with disabilities. Sponsorships for the event are still available.
