Supported Employment
Supported Employment – Let Us Show What We Can Do for You!
When searching for jobs, personal connections help tremendously. By some estimates 90% of all hires result from someone hiring a person with whom they have a personal connection – either directly or through someone else.
Help us open a door to our clients independence through employment by introducing us to potential employers.
LaunchAbility’s Supported Employment program represents a wide variety of individuals with intellectual disabilities, such as autism spectrum disorder, Down’s Syndrome, and traumatic brain injury who are looking for good jobs with good pay in Dallas and Collin counties. Armed with the knowledge that 87% of Americans prefer to do business with companies that hire people with disabilities, we present to companies eager, pre-screened potential employees from this pool of candidates. Collaboration is integral to our service. We partner with agencies such as Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS), United Way, and the Dallas Mayor's Committee for the Employment of People with Disabilities to develop company specific programs, sensitivity training, a prepared candidate pool, and on-the-job training.
